Ingredients
Dates 250gms
Boiled Milk 100ml
Corn Flour 150gms
Ghee 75gms
Elaichi powder
Cashew Nuts 10-20 Nos(Cut into Smaller pieces)

Preparation Time :-20Mins Soaking Time-10-15Mins
Method:-
1.Soak the 250gms dates in warm milk then only we can grind it into smooth paste.
2.After 15mins grind the soaked dates into a smooth paste in mixer grinder.
3. Take a fry pan with thick bottom add some little amount of ghee in it and roast the cashew nuts into light brown color and put it aside.
4. In that same pan add some more ghee in it ,then add the grounded dates paste into the pan and mix well with ghee.
5.It take some time for the dates paste to cook so put the flame in medium.
6.Meanwhile dissolve the corn flour in little amount of fresh water and make it as thin mixture.
7.Add this thin corn mixture into the dates paste and mix well, don't let it sit for a while because it will make some lumps, so mix well.
8.Add some more ghee it to the mixture so it will not stick on the pan.
9.Add the Elaichi powder into the mixture it will give nice aroma to the halwa.
10.Make sure the paste is cooked well by noticing some of the ghee is coming around the halwa.so this is the time you have to add the roasted cashew nuts in it.
11.Switch off the flame and transfer the halwa into plate that was already coated with ghee.
12.Let it sit for a while to cool down then you can make slices and enjoy the yummy tasty Dates Halwa.
